JOB DESCRIPTION

Technical Support Engineer II will leverage technical knowledge and experience to provide support to both internal and external ABE clients. The Technical Support Engineer II will provide remote and onsite support. This position is responsible for designing infrastructures, implementing and supporting technology solutions utilizing server technologies, virtualization, backup and disaster recovery, and assorted network solutions. The position provides pre-sales support, working closely with the sales team assessing both existing and potential network environments making recommendations that may require high-level engineering. The position acts as technical lead of multiple projects with conflicting time periods and will be expected to make the best decisions on behalf of company resources meeting our clients’ IT needs. The ideal candidate is a professional, has solid work ethics, high integrity, works well both independently and with a team in a managed services environment, has a strong desire to continue learning, and provides technical leadership to the IT department.
